Job Description

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management

Implement and monitor quality assurance systems for yarn, fabric, and garment production (as applicable).
Ensure adherence to customer specifications, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct inline and final inspections and manage customer audits.
Establish defect control measures and root-cause analysis to reduce rejects and rework.

Process Control & Improvement

Develop SOPs and quality checkpoints across departments.
Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA), Six Sigma/Lean initiatives to improve efficiency.
Utilize quality tools (AQL, SPC, Pareto, 7QC tools, etc.) to drive operational excellence.
Lead continuous improvement projects focusing on product consistency, cost optimization, and process capability.

Supplier Quality & Material Control

Oversee raw material testing and supplier quality rating.
Work with vendors to ensure required standards for trims, fabrics, chemicals, etc.

Customer Interaction & Satisfaction

Handle customer queries, complaints, and follow-up for corrective actions.
Ensure timely submission of samples, lab tests, and documentation.

Team Leadership

Lead, train, and develop quality assurance and quality control teams.
Conduct skill enhancement programs and competency mapping.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of home textile production processes (Spinning/Weaving/Processing/Confection).
Proficient in industry quality standards (ISO, OEKO-TEX, ZDHC, Buyer compliance protocols).
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
Good communication skills (written & spoken English preferred).
Ability to handle multiple production units & high-volume operations.
