Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead

As a Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead at our Pune location, you will have the opportunity to work with our dynamic team while servicing some of the top fortune 100 international technology companies. Your role will entail the following responsibilities: - Excellent communication skills to effectively handle any issue, requirement discussions, and daily stand-up calls with clients. - Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. - Proficiency in creating test cases, test scenarios, and requirement documents essential for project execution and QA operations. - Experience in Manual Testing, API Testing (using tools like Postman), Integration Testing, and Automation. - Skilled in requirement gathering for existing products/projects and driving manual testing, API testing, integration testing, and automation. - Expertise in End to End Functional Testing and Automation Scripting (preferably in Java, JavaScript, or Python). - Minimum 1 year of experience in testing SQL Queries and configuring tools like Jira, Zendesk, GitHub, Quality Center, TFS, and Mantis. - At least 1.5 years of experience in Selenium, Appium, Protractor with any Framework. - Ability to learn new frameworks within specified time frames and possess self-motivation and self-driven attitude. - Understanding of deliveries and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Proactive and timely communication with clients and management. - Collaborating effectively with testers, developers, and stakeholders. - Ensuring effective follow-up for defects, backlog tasks, etc., until closure. - Creation of understanding documents, detailed test case scenarios, minutes of meetings, and other essential documents to support QA operations. - Developing and executing test plans to ensure software product design specifications meet standards. - Continuous involvement with the development team to enhance product quality. - Taking the lead on software testing projects/modules and proactively working on new testing frameworks or POC.
