Senior Qa Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Automation Quality Engineer with a proven background in Playwright automation using C#, complemented by strong manual and API testing expertise. The ideal candidate will ensure the robustness, reliability, and scalability of our applications through effective test planning, automation, and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain detailed manual test cases for comprehensive coverage of web applications.
• Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright with C# to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct API testing using ReadyAPI or Postman, validating backend systems, integrations, and data flows.
• Participate in single-user performance testing to identify usability or performance bottlenecks (preferred).
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to refine testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, log, and track defects through appropriate bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Prepare and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and reports with strong documentation discipline.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure continuous quality delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5-12 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework using C#.
• Strong knowledge of manual and API testing (ReadyAPI / Postman).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative setup.
