Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in Manual Testing , API Testing , and Database Testing . The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications by working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web. Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar. Conduct backend/database testing using SQL to validate data integrity and business logic. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features with high quality. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Analyze test results, identify defects, and log them in tools like JIRA or similar. Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing as required. Review requirements and design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for QA processes and procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in QA or software testing. Proven expertise in Manual Testing , with a deep understanding of testing methodologies and best practices. Strong hands-on experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, etc. Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for Database Testing . Good understanding of Agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban). Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and mentor junior QA team members.
