Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at Aveosoft Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products through both manual and automated testing processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure clarity and completeness. - Designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing. - Independently estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. - Executing various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs to maintain high product quality. - Leading defect triage meetings and ensuring timely issue resolution. - Collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business needs and technical requirements. - Implementing and maintaining automated test scripts when applicable. - Ensuring adherence to best practices for QA processes, tools, and methodologies, and continuously improving them. - Mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers, offering technical assistance and conducting code reviews when automation is involved. - Tracking and reporting key quality metrics like defect density, test coverage, and open defect counts. - Staying updated on the latest QA trends, tools, and technologies to enhance testing efficiency. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum of 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance. - Strong expertise in software QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices. - Hands-on experience in Manual Testing, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing. - Experience in Automation Testing (preferred but not mandatory), using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. - Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Ability to handle multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams. - Experience with API testing and database testing is a plus. - Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, Git, etc., is an added advantage.
