Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer Experience: 710+ Years Location: Hybrid – Any Infosys Location Notice Period: Up to 1 Month Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in testing distributed microservice-based applications, preferably within an eCommerce environment. This role demands proficiency in modern testing methodologies and automation frameworks, with a strong focus on quality assurance practices. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute automated test cases for both API and Web UI using tools like Karate , Cypress , Cucumber , and Rest Assured . Apply Behavior Driven Development (BDD) principles in automation frameworks. Conduct both white box and black box testing to ensure end-to-end quality of the software. Collaborate closely with development and product teams in an Agile environment. Analyze test results and report defects, work closely with developers to resolve issues. Maintain test frameworks and scripts in Java or any modern programming language. Mandatory Skills: Karate , Cypress , Cucumber , BDD , and Java Minimum 5 years of automation experience for API and Web UI testing Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes Good to Have Skills: Experience with white box and black box testing Proficiency in using CSS selectors and XPath locators for element identification Preferred Background: Prior experience in eCommerce domain testing Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
