Senior QA Automation

You are an Automation QA Lead with a primary focus on web automation testing. Your role involves taking charge of the automation testing strategy for SaaS platform products. This includes selecting frameworks, evaluating tools, and implementing the strategy efficiently. Your responsibilities also include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks tailored to the complexities of SaaS applications. You will be writing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing using industry-standard automation tools and technologies. Collaboration with QA managers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders is crucial. You will work closely to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies aligned with project requirements and timelines. Continuous improvement is a key aspect of your role. You will need to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation enhancements within the SaaS testing ecosystem. Leading initiatives to increase efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness of automation testing is also part of your responsibilities. Providing mentorship and guidance to QA engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement in automation testing best practices is essential. Creating detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports, and communicating test results and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner is also expected. Staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in automation testing within the SaaS domain is necessary. You will need to evaluate and recommend new tools and techniques to enhance testing capabilities. Desired qualifications for this role include 8+ years of experience in automation testing, proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, expertise in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript, experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, deep understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, experience with performance testing tools, knowledge of cloud platforms and services, familiarity with containerization technologies, and proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.,
