Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Python/Django Architect to lead and improve our Django/Python applications. You will focus on security, performance, and code quality while guiding a small team of developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and improve security in the app (authentication, authorization, data encryption, prevent common web attacks).
  • Check and optimize database design and queries for better performance.
  • Ensure REST APIs are secure, well documented, and easy to maintain.
  • Create guidelines for secure coding and code reviews.
  • Review code regularly and mentor developers to improve the codebase.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience with Django security best practices.
  • Skilled in optimizing database queries and schema design.
  • Experience building and securing REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Familiar with code quality tools (like Bandit, Pylint) and coding standards (PEP-8).

Good To Have

  • Experience with pytest and testing improvements.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript security.
  • Experience training developers on secure coding.
