About the Role

We’re looking for a strong Backend Engineer with deep Python experience to build production-ready, modular APIs that simulate real-world services (e.g., Gmail, Jira). The role is fully focused on software engineering — writing clean, reliable, test-driven code.

Key Responsibilities

• Build modular, production-grade APIs using Python.
• Apply strict Test-Driven Development (write tests first).
• Design scalable database schemas and data models.
• Produce clear technical documentation.
• Deliver high-quality code quickly while maintaining reliability.
• Work with other teams to ensure smooth integration and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Python development.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and system design.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs end-to-end.
• Solid knowledge of TDD (pytest, unittest, etc.).
• Strong database design fundamentals.
• Ability to make and justify technical decisions.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to ship high-quality features fast.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with FastAPI / Flask / Django REST.
• Familiarity with LLM function-calling or AI-integrated APIs.
• Experience building SDKs or integration frameworks.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
