Senior Python Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications and RESTful APIs.

- Architect and implement complex backend systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Work on microservices-based architecture using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Optimize code for speed, scalability, and security.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA for end-to-end delivery.

- Lead and mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and enforce best coding practices.

- Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and internal tools effectively.

- Write unit tests, automate deployments, and support CI/CD pipelines.

- Own features from conception to deployment and post-release support.

Preferred candidate profile

6+ years of experience

- Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL (preferred).

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and Software Architecture principles.

- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

- Experience with version control (Git), Agile methodologies, and collaboration tools. - Understanding of security best practices, error handling, and logging.

- Experience with message queues (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
