Job Description

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Work Model: Office (On-Site)

Experience Window: 4 to 6 years

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience, with a strong focus on the Django framework. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain robust web applications and services, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Experience with Laravel (2+ years) is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Django.
• Implement RESTful APIs, database models, and backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps, product managers) to deliver high-quality software.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, security, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• (Optional/Nice-to-have) Support and contribute to projects built on Laravel when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in the Django framework (including ORM, middleware, authentication, migrations, etc.).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM concepts.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and deployment pipelines.
• Good understanding of web security practices and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience with Laravel (PHP framework).
• Experience with frontend technologies (JavaScript, React).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and asynchronous task queues.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
