Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI. - Architect and implement microservices-based solutions, ensuring high availability and performance. - Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance tuning (SQL and NoSQL). - Lead a team of developers, mentor junior team members, and oversee code quality through code reviews. - Gather and analyze technical and business requirements directly from clients and stakeholders. - Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy. - Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, security, and deployment. - Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4 years of professional experience in backend development using Python. - Strong experience with FastAPI or similar modern Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django REST Framework). - Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and API versioning. - Solid knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis). - Expertise in designing and building microservices architectures. - Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git). - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues. - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. - Proven ability to lead teams, manage tasks, and deliver projects on time. - Insurance domain knowledge is preferred.
