Senior Python Automation Engineer

You will be joining Sony India Software Centre (SISC), a mature Global Capability Centre providing end-to-end technology solutions and high-value services for global business organizations of Sony. As a Sr. Python Automation Engineer, your role involves working independently in Python automation development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases - Automate test cases using Python and standard test frameworks like pytest, unittest - Conduct web application automation using Selenium and Appium - Implement different testing methodologies and ensure quality assurance - Utilize various tools such as Testing tool, Git, Jenkins, etc. - Perform defect exploration, failure analysis, and reporting - Develop and enhance testing automation frameworks and tools - Participate in defect triage meetings - Communicate work progress and risks to the lead/manager **Qualifications Required:** - Education: BE, BTech, MTech - Overall Experience: 3 to 5 years - At least 2-3 years of automation experience - Good programming skills in Python and understanding of object-oriented concepts - Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus - Experience with manual testing is beneficial About SISC: Sony India Software Centre (SISC) was established in 1997 as a subsidiary of Sony India and later became Sony India Software Centre Private Limited (SISCPL) in 2012.
