ROLES & RESPONSIBILTIES (Job Experience): Sr.Purchase Engineer.

Job description:
1. Understand the Bill of material and assembly parts list
2. Arrange quotations and compare the cost,delivery,quality
3. Raise PR/PO
4. Followup/coordinate and arrange the material before due date
5. Maintain the vendors database(list of machines they have, type of products they supply)
6. New vendor development
7. Ensure 3 to 4 sources for each item(Consumable, COTS and machining items)
8. Make or buy decision for critical items.
9. Due diligence of new vendors
10. Coordinate with logistics, vendor/supplier, materials team and PPC team for in time delivery of the material/service.
