Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager or Scrum Master in the Treasury domain is responsible for overseeing and delivering complex projects within the treasury function of a financial institution. Your role will involve managing various initiatives such as treasury management systems, regulatory compliance, risk management, liquidity management, cash management, and other core treasury functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, finance, risk, compliance, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution and successful delivery. Your key responsibilities will include leading end-to-end project delivery for treasury initiatives, managing project lifecycles using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, developing detailed project plans and timelines, conducting stakeholder analysis, proactively identifying project risks and issues, monitoring project budgets and resource allocations, implementing change management best practices, preparing project status reports, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, you will be expected to coach and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to best practices in project management and Agile principles. Mandatory Skills: - Financial Services - Project Management Methodology - Scrum Master - Treasury Operations You should possess a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager and Scrum Master in the treasury or financial services domain. A strong understanding of treasury processes, proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders are essential. Additionally, proficiency in project management tools, solid understanding of project financial management, and professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, or Agile Coach are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also a must. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) such as Murex, Calypso, Wallstreet Suite (WSS), or Kyriba - Understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting treasury operations - Prior experience in a large financial institution or global bank - Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud technologies - Experience in leading cross-regional teams and advanced data analysis skills - Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies (ref:hirist.tech),
