Senior Project Lead - Networking Infrastructure

Role Overview: As an MPLS Integration Engineer at STL Digital, you will be responsible for implementing IP/MPLS network transport systems to support MPLS VPN traffic and internet services from the Gateway. Your role will involve supporting and troubleshooting networking technologies such as MPLS, VPRN/VRF, and MPBGP/BGP in a multi-vendor scenario within an ISP/Telecom service provider environment. Additionally, you will be involved in the implementation and migration of MPLS Core networks with LDP/MPLS and ISIS interior routing protocols, as well as configuration and deployment of designed network solutions at the ISP Gateway level within an IP Routing, MPLS/BGP environment. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining network topology documents, design diagrams, and network inventory. Key Responsibilities: - Implement IP/MPLS network transport systems to support MPLS VPN traffic and internet services from the Gateway. - Support and troubleshoot networking technologies including MPLS, VPRN/VRF, and MPBGP/BGP in a multi-vendor scenario. - Implement and migrate MPLS Core networks with LDP/MPLS and ISIS interior routing protocols. - Configure and deploy designed network solutions at the ISP Gateway level within an IP Routing, MPLS/BGP environment. - Maintain network topology documents, design diagrams, and network inventory. - Troubleshoot hardware and operational issues in the Nokia deployed network and equipment. - Implement, integrate, and migrate IP/MPLS equipment and solutions as defined by Statement of Work (SoW), design, and Method of Procedures (MOPs). - Collaborate with IP technical support teams (TAC, R&D, Design) to troubleshoot network/SW/HW issues encountered during network touch activities. - Work with ION Network design to build test plans and strategy, MOPs, and technical documentation as defined by project SoW. - Set up LAB environment and execute design validation tests, FAT, SAT, TAT, RG, NRG. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - 4 to 10 years of experience in implementing IP/MPLS network transport systems. - Strong understanding of networking technologies including MPLS, VPRN/VRF, MPBGP/BGP, ISIS, and OSPF. - Experience in configuring and deploying network solutions within an ISP/Telecom service provider environment. - Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and operational issues in network equipment. - Ability to work collaboratively with technical support teams and follow project guidelines effectively.
