Senior Project Engineer - TSI

Role Overview: You will be joining bp's Projects India organization as a Project Manager and PM discipline Team Lead. Your role will involve aligning and integrating the project organization, scope, and delivery across all delivery areas of the Projects India organization. Reporting to the Project Management Discipline Manager and Projects India Unit leader, you will play a key role in supporting all project activities in the project delivery lines. Your responsibilities will include project performance management, managing project contractors and key external stakeholders, internal partners engagement, project governance, and verification among others. You will be a crucial integrator across projects partners and contractors, working closely with the wider Project Leadership team for successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Projects India Unit leader in project management and leadership integration. - Lead project performance management. - Manage project contractors and key external stakeholders. - Handle internal partners engagement and project performance cadence. - Lead on project governance and verification including preparation for project assurance gates. - Line manage and deploy project management resources within the Project India Unit. - Act as an agency staff line manager. Qualifications Required: - A minimum of a bachelor's degree level qualification in a technical field or equivalent. - 15+ years of experience in the energy industry with a track record in delivering complex projects safely in FEL2, FEL 3 and implement. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - Knowledge of industry best practices and standards in Project Management. - Familiarity with risk management, major project processes, and tools. - Ability to handle interactions with project partners and external collaborators effectively. - Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
