Job Description

Key Responsibilities, Deliverables / Outcomes

The Project Coordinators key responsibilities include

  • Manage small to medium sized project by project planning, tracking, monitoring, and closures.
  • Facilitate project communication, ensure optimal resource utilization, and maintain project documentation.
  • Coordinate among sales, delivery, and finance, manage client relationships (if applicable).
  • Implement change management strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.

Project Planning and Initiation:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation with the assistance of the project manager
  • Facilitate project initiation process by gathering requirements, identifying stakeholders, and establishing project governance.

Task Management:

  • Able to plan, assign, and track tasks effectively to ensure timely completion.
  • The ability to track project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and take corrective action as needed.
  • The ability to make informed decisions in a timely manner.
  • The ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during project execution.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Facilitate effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address their concerns proactively.
  • Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of project progress and any potential issues.

Change

  • Manage project changes effectively, including documenting changes, assessing their impact, and updating project plans.
  • Communicate changes to stakeholders and obtain necessary approvals.

Communication and Reporting

  • Communicate with senior management periodically by presenting reports on the projects progress, performance and resource utilization.
  • Prepare and send project status reports to clients regularly.
  • Interact with clients for maintaining project documentation such as contract preparation, NDA signing, contract renewals etc.
  • Establish and maintain active and constructive relationships with other teams in the organization.

Quality Assurance:

  • The ability to ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.

Qualifications

a. BCA, B.Sc Comp Sc., BE/B.Tech.

b. Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.

c. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.

d. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
