Senior Product Manager, Commerce Platform

Role Overview: As a seasoned and proven product leader at AppDirect, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of key parts of the AppDirect commerce platform. Your role will focus on enhancing the platform's capabilities, particularly in areas such as checkout, order management, and productivity. By defining and communicating the vision, strategy, and roadmap, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and engaging buying journey for marketplace customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key commerce and administrative functions, aligning with business goals and market needs. - Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive data to inform product decisions and prioritize enhancements. - Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. - Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration, defining and tracking success metrics for continuous improvement and innovation. - Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product development process. - Optimize the purchase and checkout processes for scalability, efficiency, and user satisfaction, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on commerce platforms, order management, shopping cart, checkout, and fulfillment services processes. Experience with eCommerce or subscription billing is a plus. - Track record of building AI-based product recommendations based on customer signals and purchase behavior. - Strong understanding of digital commerce technologies, enterprise search, data visualization, event-driven architecture, and UX design principles. - Proven leadership skills to lead and inspire cross-functional teams towards a common vision. - Proficiency in data analytics tools and metrics-driven decision-making. - Excellent ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
