Senior Procurement Engineer

As a Procurement Manager, your role involves overseeing the end-to-end procurement process for civil, structural, and finishing materials. Your key responsibilities include: - Identifying, evaluating, and finalizing vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors based on project and company requirements. - Preparing comparative statements, negotiating rates, and finalizing purchase orders/work orders to ensure best value procurement. - Reviewing material specifications, drawings, and BOQs to accurately plan procurement timelines and quantities. - Maintaining and updating the procurement tracker and delivery schedules for all ongoing projects. - Liaising with project managers, quantity surveyors, and site engineers to assess material needs and delivery plans. - Ensuring timely delivery of materials, tracking logistics, and proactively resolving any delays or quality concerns. - Establishing and maintaining strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent material quality, price competitiveness, and supply reliability. - Providing regular updates to management on procurement status, cost-saving opportunities, and vendor performance reports. - Ensuring adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety protocols in procurement activities. - Coordinating for sample approvals, technical data sheets, and compliance certificates before bulk ordering. - Tracking inventory levels and material consumption to optimize procurement planning.
