Job Description

  • Develop unit plot plans and equipment layouts for offshore projects including WHP, process platforms, and FPSO facilities.
  • Perform layout optimization studies to ensure safety, operability, and efficient use of space.
  • Prepare material take-offs (MTO) in accordance with project requirements.
  • Review vendor packages and ensure seamless integration with overall piping and layout design.
  • Ensure piping design integrity is maintained throughout project execution.
  • Apply mechanical handling concepts during layout development to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform support selection and modeling, including preparation of special support drawings when required.
  • Conduct ISO checking and back drafting, and provide support to the ISO team as per project needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide junior designers, ensuring adherence to design standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to conceptual layout studies during early project phases.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and execution challenges.
