Role Overview: As a Senior PowerApps & Visualization Developer at Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), you will be a key player in enhancing how business users and clients operate by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications on the Microsoft Power Platform. Your primary responsibility will be creating impactful data visualizations using Power BI, integrating applications with Azure and SQL Server, building automated workflows, and delivering analytics solutions to drive business efficiency and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Design and build model-driven and canvas PowerApps. - Create and optimize workflows using Power Automate. - Integrate PowerApps with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Azure services. - Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. - Write and optimize DAX queries and data models to support advanced analytics and visualization. - Develop and maintain SQL stored procedures and complex queries. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD deployments. - Troubleshoot, support, and enhance existing applications and dashboards. - Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Power Platform and visualization best practices. Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field. - 4 - 7 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on development with Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and visualization using Power BI. - Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including writing and optimizing stored procedures. - Solid experience with Power BI, including DAX queries, data modeling, dashboard/report design, and performance optimization. - Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, etc.). - Experience in ADF, Alteryx, Tableau is a plus. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an entrepreneurial approach to work. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong organizational and time management skills.
