Senior PowerApps Developer

Role Overview: Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm with a team that provides various services to clients, including Data & Applied Intelligence, Product and Innovation, Technology M&A and Strategy, and Technology Transformation. As a Senior PowerApps & Visualization Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications on the Microsoft Power Platform, creating impactful data visualizations using Power BI, integrating applications with Azure and SQL Server, building automated workflows, and delivering analytics solutions that drive business efficiency and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Design and build model-driven and canvas PowerApps. - Create and optimize workflows using Power Automate. - Integrate PowerApps with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Azure services. - Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. - Write and optimize DAX queries and data models to support advanced analytics and visualization. - Develop and maintain SQL stored procedures and complex queries. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD deployments. - Troubleshoot, support, and enhance existing applications and dashboards. - Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Power Platform and visualization best practices. Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field. - 4 - 7 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on development with Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and visualization using PowerBI. - Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including writing and optimizing stored procedures. - Solid experience with Power BI, including DAX queries, data modeling, dashboard/report design, and performance optimization. - Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure services. - Experience in ADF, Alteryx, Tableau is a plus. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an entrepreneurial approach to work. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong organizational and time management skills.,
