Senior PM Oracle

As a Senior Project Manager for the Oracle Platform subscription project in Melbourne/Sydney, you will be responsible for implementing and running the project with the goal of upgrading Market Systems to Oracle's long-term support release, 19C. Your key responsibilities will include: - Migrating all Oracle Enterprise databases to on-premise Oracle Cloud subscriptions (private cloud appliance). - Minimizing customer operational costs associated with the Oracle platform. - Upgrading critical Market System databases to a supported version of Oracle to improve compliance with customer policies endorsed by the Security team. - Reducing hardware managed and upgrading the Oracle Platform to be maintained by the customer. - Ensuring the ability to scale for short term workloads without additional hardware or software procurement. - Addressing security policy shortfalls within the current delivery model by ceasing the expense of overprovisioned hardware required for the current architecture. You should have strong project management acumen and experience in running similar Oracle projects and upgrades. Your role will involve: - Defining, managing, and controlling the Lifecycle project to meet quality, cost, and time requirements. - Coordinating demand and presenting Lifecycle infrastructure or application initiatives for approval. - Consulting and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and meet stakeholder expectations. - Developing and maintaining procedures, policies, and controls to achieve key milestones within the project. - Providing regular executive level status reports, communications, and advice on the project, risks, and issues to stakeholders. - Evaluating the project and providing feedback on benefits achieved and opportunities for improvement to drive continuous improvement across the business.
