Roles and Responsibilities:

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Design and manage scalable infrastructure using tools like

CI/CD Pipeline Development:

• Build, enhance, and maintain

Monitoring, Alerting & Incident Management:

• Develop and optimize

  systems for platform observability.
• Participate in

Tooling & Automation:

• Create automation tools and scripts using

• Improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency through custom tooling.
  

Performance Optimization & Scalability:

• Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning solutions.
  
• Forecast capacity requirements to ensure platform scalability under increasing loads.
  

Collaboration & Mentorship:

• Work closely with software engineering teams to ensure production readiness and resilience.
  
• Mentor junior SRE/DevOps engineers and promote a culture of excellence.
  

Security & Compliance:

• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and application layers.
  
• Support vulnerability management and participate in incident response efforts.
  

Documentation & Continuous Improvement:

• Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, procedures, and processes.
  
• Research new tools, techniques, and industry trends to enhance platform performance.
  

Mandatory Skills:

• SRE (Site Reliability Engineering)

  practices and principles

• DevOps

  tooling and automation
• Expertise in

  AWS

  cloud services
• Proficiency with

  Terraform

  (IaC)
• Strong scripting/coding skills in

  Python

Desired Skills:
