Job Description

Develop piping layout designs using software like AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PDMS, E3D, SmartPlant, or similar. Prepare and review piping GA (General Arrangement), isometric, and support drawings. Interpret and apply piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), process flow diagrams (PFDs), and vendor drawings. Ensure compliance with applicable codes (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.) and client standards. Collaborate with piping engineers, process engineers, structural designers, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated designs. Perform site visits or walk-downs (if required) for data collection, verification, and as-built documentation. Assist in material take-offs (MTOs), pipe stress coordination, and clash detection reviews. Maintain project documentation, revision control, and quality assurance standards.
