Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Physical Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience . The role involves developing, implementing, and verifying physical designs for semiconductor components, contributing to tape-out processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in VLSI design projects. Responsibilities include floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and timing closure, with a focus on achieving high-quality, efficient, and reliable designs. The candidate will work on leading technologies and tools, ensuring high performance and minimal power consumption for innovative semiconductor solutions.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Physical Design methodologies including Floorplanning, Placement, Static Timing Analysis, Power/Clock planning, and Layout Verification
• Proficiency with EDA tools like Synopsys ICC, Cadence Innovus, and other industry-standard tools
• Strong understanding of Digital Backend Design concepts covering RTL-to-GDSII flow
• Knowledge of timing, power, and signal integrity analysis and optimization
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Tcl, or Perl for design automation
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• Relevant experience in the Semiconductor or VLSI domain is highly desirable
