Role & responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Optimizely Content Management Developer to lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of digital content experiences using the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform (DXP) . The ideal candidate will have deep experience with enterprise CMS solutions and a strong background in the healthcare or eyecare industry . You will play a critical role in shaping high-impact digital solutions that improve customer engagement and support business growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end implementation of content solutions using Optimizely CMS (formerly Episerver). Customize and extend Optimizely DXP to meet complex business and user experience requirements. Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital platforms. Design and develop reusable content models, templates, and personalization strategies. Integrate third-party tools, services, and APIs as needed to enhance platform capabilities. Apply industry best practices and compliance standards, especially relevant to healthcare/eyecare digital solutions . Perform code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize performance across environments. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers. Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of experience in .NET development , with at least 3+ years working specifically with Optimizely CMS/DXP . Strong experience in C# , ASP.NET MVC/Core , and JavaScript frameworks . In-depth knowledge of Optimizely Content Cloud , Commerce Cloud , and personalization features . Experience working in the healthcare or eyecare domain , with understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations. Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and responsive design principles. Proficient in integrating APIs, web services (REST, SOAP), and third-party tools. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Optimizely Developer or Solution Architect certification. Experience with Optimizely Search & Navigation , experimentation, or recommendation engines. Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS . Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
