Senior Operations Expert - Distribution and Traction Transformers, Hub APMEA

As a Senior Operations Expert specializing in Transformer Manufacturing at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in advancing a sustainable energy future for all. Your primary responsibilities will include optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and driving operational excellence across our facilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to enhance efficiency and support our strategic goals. Your impact will be significant in various key areas: Manufacturing Performance: Collaborate with product line and factory managers to develop programs, projects, goals, and metrics that enhance manufacturing performance. Drive synergies among transformer manufacturing facilities in the region. Process Optimization: Provide guidance in overseeing transformer manufacturing processes, managing resources efficiently, and implementing best practices to achieve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost targets. Manufacturing Technologies: Work closely with the Global Product Group Operations team to implement best practices and ensure the adoption of the latest manufacturing technologies across the APMEA region. Automation & Digitalization: Lead manufacturing automation and digitalization projects to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance production capabilities. Investment Capex Projects: Oversee large capital expenditure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet required specifications. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators specific to transformer manufacturing to identify areas for improvement. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence and delivering results in complex organizations. Strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills with a clear passion for self and others" development. Fluency in English is required for effective communication.
