Job Description

As a Relationship Manager in the Corporate and Investment Banking division of DBS, your primary role is to acquire and build a diversified portfolio within the IBG 4 segment. Your portfolio should generate revenue from various sources such as assets, trade, cash, treasury, and fees, while maintaining an acceptable risk level for the bank. Your responsibilities include: - Source new asset relationships within the IBG 4 segment in alignment with the bank's lending policy - Ensure a healthy Net Interest Income and fees across the portfolio through cross-selling of various products - Contribute to increasing the profitability of the branch - Monitor the portfolio effectively to maintain delinquencies at NIL - Implement the IBG4 business strategy to increase market share and achieve targets - Build the DBS brand value and enhance the network through marketing activities and collaborations - Comply with the bank's processes, policies, and ensure positive ratings during audits In your role, you will be expected to: - Source new asset relationships within IBG 4 segment and ensure sanction and disbursement in collaboration with the customer, risk, and operations team - Cross-sell liability, trade, cash, and treasury products actively - Conduct due diligence while onboarding new asset relationships - Increase the wallet share by exploring opportunities for cross-selling - Monitor accounts closely for timely renewals and provide feedback to the credit and portfolio team - Ensure compliance with KYC/AML requirements and other policies - Maintain communication with local business stakeholders to stay updated on market practices Requirements: - 5-10 years of overall sales experience - 3 years of sales experience in SME/Business Banking Lending - Proven track record in asset business in the SME/Business Banking segment - Knowledge of competitors and marketplace dynamics Education / Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's in finance, economics, commerce, MBA, or CA Core Competencies: - Excellent communication and listening skills - Strong sales and negotiation skills Technical Competencies: - Working capital finance knowledge At DBS India, we are committed to fostering a culture where all employees are valued, respected, and provided with opportunities for continuous professional growth.
