Senior News Editor

Responsibilities:

· Look into complete editorial process – from content planning to drafting news scripts.

· Edit & proofread content for grammar, clarity & accuracy.

· Collaborate with the team to develop engaging & high-quality content.

· Provide constructive feedback & mentorship to writers & editors.

· Co – ordinate with marketing & digital teams for content integration.

· Stay updated on industry trends, reader preferences & content best practices.

· Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Requirements:

Strong storytelling & structuring skills with grammar, punctuation & editorial style.

Experience in political news content editorials / news columns.

Experience in managing editorial teams & workflows.

Ability to work independently & collaboratively with good organizational skills.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

Experience in content creation, editing, or publishing.

Experience :- at least 2 years needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
