Responsibilities:
1. Essential Editing: - Edit & assemble raw footage into polished videos & publish on social media platforms. Add music, dialogues, graphics & effects as needed.
2. Co -ordination:- Co- ordinate with the creative team to understand project goals.
3. Latest Editing Trends: -Stay updated with editing, digital marketing trends & technologies to ensure logical sequencing & smooth transitions.
4. Editing Efficiency:- Organize & maintain video libraries & project files. Manage multiple projects & meet tight deadlines.
5. Creative Innovation: - Ability to deliver creative content such as posters & brochures. Generate engaging captions, eye catching visuals & stories that spark conversation.
Qualifications & Skills :-
1. Minimum 12th or Degree/ Diploma course in Editing. (Degree in Film Studies, Media & Communication or a related field- preferred but not mandatory.)
2. Proficiency in Editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, FCP – Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Graphics work or After Effects.
3. Knowledge of color correction, sound editing & motion graphics.
4. Knowledge of languages Malayalam & English. (Hindi or any other language would be an advantage).
5. Knowledge of social media handles – Facebook, Instagram, Linked In & Twitter.
Additional Skills:-
1. Previous news Channel experience as a Video Editor would be considered.
2. Basic animation or motion graphics experience.
3. Experience with YouTube, Instagram Reels or short form video editing & Photography skills.
4. Knowledge of Graphic Design, Social media management & Video production is preferred.
Payment - As per the Company Standards.
