Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with experience in network and security, particularly in a financial services environment. The role involves managing and optimizing complex networking infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, MPLS, and cloud connectivity technologies. Thesuccessful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of advanced routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, and experience with Data Center (DC) architecture, Cisco ACI, and firewall technologies like CheckPoint, Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA.Responsibilities:

• Minimum 7-10 year’s experience in Network and Security field as Sr Network Engineer
• In-depth knowledge about network advanced routing protocols line BGP, OSPF, EIGRRP and inter protocol distribution.
• Solid experience of LAN, WAN, MPLS, Multicast and Cloud connectivity technologies and management.
• In-depth knowledge about DC Architecture and implementation, its functioning and operational experience
• In-depth knowledge about Cisco Routers/Switch and software maintenance and upgrades.
• Solid experience of managing multivendor DC infrastructure within a financial institution
• Good knowledge of Tetration & Firewall technology and Dynamic routing through firewalls.
• Proven track record of delivering programs and projects on the core Infrastructure
• Experienced in dealing with vendors and third-party suppliers
• Proven experience of managing a 24/7 production environment
• Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations

Primary Skills:

• Palo Alto, Cisco & Checkpoint Firewalls: Extensive experience with implementing, upgrading, maintaining, and monitoring Palo Alto and CheckPoint firewalls.
• Cisco Routers/Switches: In-depth knowledge of Cisco routers and switches, including software maintenance and upgrades.
• Cisco ACI Spine and Leaf Architecture: In-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI Spine and Leaf architecture.
• Advanced Routing Protocols: Proficiency in integrating advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) with Palo Alto and CheckPoint firewalls.
• Troubleshooting: Proven ability to troubleshoot network problems involving Palo Alto and CheckPoint firewalls.
• Dynamic Routing: Good knowledge of dynamic routing through Palo Alto and CheckPoint firewalls.
• Multi-layered Security: Experience with multi-layered security and next-generation firewall features of Palo Alto and CheckPoint.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Cloud architecture and security in cloud.
• Knowledge of Proxy for Internet and application access
• Knowledge of Dell Chassis based Dell Switch, and its configuration will be advantageous
• Knowledge about Meraki, Cisco ISE/NAC implementations
• Knowledge about Load balancers and their use for multiple applications
• Knowledge of multi-layered Security, Next Generation FW and checkpoint software blades

Certifications:

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or
• CheckPoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE) certification preferred.
• Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification, indicating a strong foundation in network engineering.
