Senior .NET Developer

As a Senior ASP.NET/VB.NET developer, your role will involve building scalable, predictable, high-quality, and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. Here is what you will be responsible for: **Role Overview:** You will be involved in requirements gathering and specification, quality assurance, and communication to ensure the successful development of custom applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Capture user requests for custom designs and templates - Review, analyze, and prioritize requirements based on user demand and overall strategy - Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and developers to design the best layout/template - Write design specifications for custom applications - Design functional tests for new applications - Oversee testing and release management - Validate documentation - Initiate deployment via corporate change management process - Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members, vendors, and stakeholders - Develop clear and complete functional specifications, test plans, and end-user documentation **Qualifications Required:** - Excellent knowledge of Server technologies & architectures (Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS) - Excellent knowledge of the .NET framework - Very good knowledge of Web Technologies & Languages (AJAX, jQuery, C#, ASP.Net, CSS, HTML, XML, XSLT) - Knowledge of Silverlight is a plus - Proven experience with analyzing and documenting complex processes - Proven experience interacting directly with end users - Experience with tools and methodologies for requirements gathering and modeling - Proven track record in Software Development - Excellent writing skills and experience with creating design documents, specifications, and test plans - Experience with issue tracking and project management tools - Results-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills - Good understanding of user needs of a large decentralized organization This position requires at least 3 years of professional experience with application architectures, requirement gathering, and specification design.,
