Senior .Net Developer

Job Title: Senior .NET Developer

Core Responsibilities:

Software Development

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET CORE, MVC, Web API, .NET Core, etc.).
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Take solutions from concept to production by writing code, configurations, and scripts.
• Enhance existing implementations or implement new features in an existing platform.
• Develop scalable, robust software with performance, security, and operations in mind.

Problem Solving and Optimization

• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• Identify problem areas in code/solution, troubleshoot issues, and find resolutions.
• Optimize application performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure thorough testing and bug fixing.

Collaboration

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into functional software.
• Partner with Product Owners and Architects to understand and influence product roadmaps.
• Participate in code reviews, openly give and receive feedback.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to system architecture and design.

Task Management & Leadership

• Manage tasks and allocate resources effectively.
• Ensure project deadlines are met.
• Provide mentorship to more junior team members.
• Author quality documentation for any solutions implemented, covering both implementation details and usage guidelines.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies and industry trends.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior developers.
• Stay informed of the latest technology trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a .NET developer (5-7 years of experience is a must).
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET CORE, and related frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
• Experience with front-end technologies (Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with technology.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Certifications in Microsoft technologies.
