Job Description : Senior Migration Engineer (Transformation & Load ) Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and execution of complex data transformation and loading processes for telecom BSS migration projects. Acts as the technical owner for transformation logic across multiple entities like Product Catalog, Customer Product Inventory, and In-flight Orders. Key Responsibilities: Design transformation architecture and define technical standards. Write and review transformation scripts (Python/SQL/PL-SQL/Spark) for high-volume datasets (~20M+ records). Implement reusable transformation frameworks and parameterized pipelines. Optimize bulk data loads into target BSS systems (DB/API/file-based). Lead data validation, performance tuning, and load reconciliation. Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and support test cycles. Collaborate with business analysts and data modelers to interpret complex mapping logic. Skills Required: 7 10 years of hands-on experience in large-scale BSS migrations. Strong scripting skills in Python, SQL/PL-SQL, and transformation frameworks. Deep understanding of telecom BSS data models (especially inventory, product catalog). Experience with big data tools (Spark/Hadoop) and batch orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Control-M). Strong performance tuning and error handling capabilities.
