As an expert level capacity planner at Ensono, you will be responsible for managing various mainframe client accounts to ensure optimal processing performance. Your role will involve providing consultation and advisement to technical principals within the mainframe disciplines, authoring white papers, mentoring senior and junior planners, and participating as speakers in seminars. Additionally, you will be involved in developing critical capacity and performance analytics, forecasting future demand, and providing recommendations to Ensono and clients for achieving the best performance in their mainframe compute environments. Key Responsibilities: - Extensive experience in Mainframe environment including z-series, zos operating system, architecture, design, and peripheral systems - Proficiency in Mainframe scripting/programming using JCL and other coding languages - Strong statistical and analytical application experience with tools like SAS, MXG, BMC, zpc3000 - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Managing multiple projects independently with shifting priorities - Providing advice, consultation, and support to multiple client environments with unique requirements - Public communication and presentation to large audiences including industry senior technical personnel and executive leadership - Occasional weekend support (1 out of 10 weekends) and participation in on-call rotation - Identification and definition of KPIs, developing client forecasting models, and identifying system performance issues - Mentorship, technical consultation, training, and knowledge sharing with other associates and organizations - Development of technical strategies, leading and mentoring on high complexity assignments - Establishing strong relationships with teams and outsource partners - Comprehensive impact analysis of system performance parameters and technical expertise for client activities - Engineering and deploying automation solutions for capacity team supported processes - Innovation thought leadership on emerging technologies and automation solutions Experience: - Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years with a Master's degree, or equivalent work experience Desired Skills: - Understanding of the competitive Mainframe landscape from both business and technical perspectives, especially in capacity and performance aspects Shift Timing: - 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm IST,
