Senior MEP BIM Engineer (Scan to BIM)

Role Overview: As an MEP BIM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, coordination, and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes specifically for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Your duties will include developing detailed and precise MEP models using industry-standard BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks. It will be essential to conduct clash detection and resolution to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems with architectural and structural elements. Moreover, you will be creating and managing construction drawings and documentation for MEP systems while performing QA/QC checks on models and drawings to guarantee compliance with project standards and accuracy. Collaboration with internal teams and clients to address complex design and coordination challenges will also be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be required to stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in MEP BIM workflows and technologies, as well as implement and maintain company BIM standards and workflows for MEP projects. Qualifications Required: - 4 years of hands-on experience in MEP BIM modeling, including proficiency in Revit and Navisworks. - Expertise in creating detailed construction drawings for MEP systems. - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
