Role Description As an MEP BIM Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, coordinating, and executing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This role involves creating detailed and accurate MEP models, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities 1. Develop detailed MEP models using industry-standard BIM software like Revit and Navisworks. 2. Perform clash detection and resolution to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with architectural and structural elements. 3. Create and manage construction drawings and documentation for MEP systems. 4. Conduct QA/QC checks on models and drawings to ensure compliance with project standards and accuracy. 5. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to address complex design and coordination challenges. 6. Develop custom Revit families and templates for MEP components. 7. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in MEP BIM workflows and technologies. 8. Implement and maintain company BIM standards and workflows for MEP projects. Minimum Requirements 1. Experience: • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in MEP BIM modeling, including Revit and Navisworks. • Proficiency in creating detailed construction drawings for MEP systems. 2. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications 1. Strong expertise in: • BIM software like Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. • Clash detection and resolution using tools like Navisworks Manage or BIM 360. • Creating custom Revit families and templates for MEP systems. 2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 3. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a client-focused mindset. 4.
