As an MEP BIM Engineer, you will be responsible for playing a crucial role in the design, coordination, and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes specifically for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Your duties will include developing detailed and precise MEP models using industry-standard BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks. It will be essential to conduct clash detection and resolution to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems with architectural and structural elements. Moreover, you will be creating and managing construction drawings and documentation for MEP systems while performing QA/QC checks on models and drawings to guarantee compliance with project standards and accuracy. Collaboration with internal teams and clients to address complex design and coordination challenges will also be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be required to stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in MEP BIM workflows and technologies, as well as implement and maintain company BIM standards and workflows for MEP projects. Minimum Requirements: - 4 years of hands-on experience in MEP BIM modeling, including proficiency in Revit and Navisworks. - Expertise in creating detailed construction drawings for MEP systems. - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: - Strong proficiency in BIM software like Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. - Experience in clash detection and resolution using tools like Navisworks Manage or BIM 360. - Ability to create custom Revit families and templates for MEP systems. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities with a client-focused mindset. - Detail-oriented with the capability to deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines.
