Senior Electrical Bim Modeler

As a Senior Electrical BIM Modeler at Design Solutions Inc, you will play a crucial role in creating, managing, and coordinating electrical BIM models for various building projects. Your expertise in BIM workflows, electrical systems modeling, and interdisciplinary coordination will ensure accurate and high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed 3D BIM models of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage systems) using Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools. - Prepare electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and detailed construction drawings as per project specifications and industry standards. - Create, modify, and manage Revit families for electrical equipment. - Extract 2D drawings, BOQs, and schedules from BIM models for project deliverables. - Collaborate with MEP teams, architects, and structural engineers to coordinate electrical systems with other disciplines and resolve clashes using Navisworks Manage. - Conduct clash detection, coordinate issue resolutions, and maintain clash-free models throughout project phases. - Assist in the development and enforcement of BIM standards, templates, and workflows for electrical systems. - Review and update models to reflect design changes, RFIs, and construction modifications. - Provide technical support and mentoring to junior BIM modelers. - Participate in coordination meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders. - Maintain and manage model documentation, version control, and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical BIM modeling for building projects. Must have GCC Project experience. - Software Proficiency: Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, BIM 360.,
