Senior Manual QA Engineer

As a Senior Manual QA Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications. With your 5+ years of experience, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, preparing test cases, performing manual testing, tracking bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to prepare detailed test cases and test plans. - Perform end-to-end manual testing across web and mobile platforms. - Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc. - Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and UI/UX teams to ensure product quality and alignment with business goals. - Conduct regression testing when bugs are resolved and prior to releases. - Contribute to improving QA processes and documentation. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing best practices, tools, and technologies. - Provide inputs on usability and user experience from a QA standpoint. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of manual testing experience in a product-based environment. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Hands-on experience with web and mobile application testing. - Proven experience in writing and executing comprehensive test cases. - Proficient in bug tracking tools like JIRA, Mantis, or Bugzilla. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes. - Familiarity with basic SQL queries for backend validation. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. In addition to the technical skills required, familiarity with casual gaming and/or edtech domains, understanding of gameplay mechanics, and exposure to cross-browser and cross-device testing are considered preferred qualifications. Basic knowledge of automation concepts will be a bonus but not mandatory.
