Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Overall responsibilities of Quality control operations.
  • Coordination for the Preparation of Quality Plans and ensuring adherence to the same.
  • Communicating the project status to the Plant Head/Business Head.
  • Communicating the non-conformities identified in the projects to the executive director immediately for necessary advice and course of action.
  • Shall maintain the internal test report of inward material.
  • Interact with stores and arrange for inward material inspection.
  • Interact with the production manager and arrange for testing to be submitted to the customer.
  • Conducting the internal inspections, final inspections by coordinating with the customers etc.
  • Inspection and Acceptance tests, like lab, ultrasonic testing carried out as per QAP.
  • Manpower planning for the department for current and future requirements
  • Offering inspection and acceptance tests to the customer.
  • Maintaining all measurement Instruments calibration records.
  • Preparation and review of Inspection report, Product log Book, incoming raw materials, route card, Process and QC checklist.
  • Ensure the safety measures during critical stages of testing. Work on workplace safety at the plant.
  • Reporting the non-conformities identified in the process to the higher authority and the Production department
  • Preparation of SOPs, Manuals, Metrics, and Review Mechanisms to ensure overall availability of equipment and utilities.
