Senior Managerial Position QAQC & Operational Excellence

As the Head of QAQC & Operational Excellence at our Pune head office, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading our Quality function for utility-scale renewable energy projects. Your responsibility will involve architecting and institutionalizing a world-class QA & QC department to ensure defect-free, compliant, high-performance assets are delivered by EPC partners. Your expertise in quality management systems and operational excellence frameworks will be crucial in setting new benchmarks in India's clean energy sector. Your key responsibilities will include: - Department Setup & Governance: Defining the QA & QC department structure, roles & responsibilities, and resourcing plan. - Quality Framework: Developing and deploying an Integrated Management System encompassing ISO standards. - Policies & Procedures: Authoring and maintaining quality manuals, project quality plans, and inspection & test plans. - System Quality Management: Driving certification and continual improvement across quality management systems. - Supply Quality Assurance: Managing vendor audits, inspections, and supplier development. - Field Quality Control: Overseeing quality at project sites and ensuring compliance with safety standards. - Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Leading initiatives for quality improvement and process optimization. - Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and representing the company in quality audits. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering and at least 15 years of experience in QA & QC roles within renewable energy projects. Advanced certifications in Quality and expertise in ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma, and quality management tools are preferred. Your technical skills should include proficiency with QMS software, ERP modules, and BI tools. Strong command of industry standards and statutory compliance mandates is also required.
