Job Description

As a member of the tendering team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Tender Manager in various day-to-day activities. Your primary tasks will include processing customer Request For Quotations efficiently to meet the customer's requested date. In case you are unable to meet the customer's requested date, it is essential to escalate the matter to the Tender Manager for a review. You will be required to interpret customer specifications meticulously to ensure that the correct requirements are delivered. Any ambiguities in the specifications must be clarified with the opportunity leader before uploading the Request For Quotation in the bFO system. Additionally, part of your role will involve ensuring that both the customer and the opportunity leader are informed about any non-compliance issues in the offer. It is crucial to verify that all Terms and Conditions align with the standard guidelines. Any deviations from the standard Terms and Conditions should be brought to the attention of the Tendering Manager before the offer is uploaded to bFO. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing handover documents according to the ETO Toolbox Classification. Your presence will be required at handover meetings as a representative of the tendering team. You will also need to attend and actively participate in local SIM meetings, and if necessary, provide support to the Tendering Manager in attending other unit SIM team meetings. Moreover, you are encouraged to undertake self-development initiatives, which may include engaging with Schneider University, e-learning programs, or external training opportunities.
