The Senior Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight of multiple audits and the development of the audit team. Leading high-profile audit engagements and ensuring compliance with standards is a key part of the role. It is important to allocate resources effectively and oversee the execution of audit plans. Reviewing and signing off on audit reports, focusing on significant findings, is crucial for maintaining quality and accuracy. In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Manager is also expected to provide mentorship and development opportunities for Audit Managers and junior staff. Engaging with clients to discuss audit results and recommend process improvements is essential for building strong client relationships and delivering valuable insights. The Senior Manager must stay updated on industry changes and be proactive in updating audit methodologies as necessary. Ensuring value addition to the client and excellence in every assignment is a priority. Keeping knowledge up to date and conducting seminars/trainings for clients, articles, and managers when required is an important aspect of the role. Furthermore, it is vital for the Senior Manager to inform the Reporting Partner of all critical/important issues regarding the clients being managed.
