What You ll Bring

Extensive Technical Background: 12+ years of hands-on software development experience constructing large-scale, high-volume systems using Java, Python, Node.js, or Scala. Proven success crafting and delivering microservices and event-driven architectures in cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, RDBMS/NoSQL databases, ElasticSearch, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with frontend frameworks (ReactJS, Angular, or equivalent) and mobile app ecosystems (iOS/Android).
Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of engineering management experience, leading multi-tier teams with engineers across backend, frontend, and mobile subject areas. Strong track record of growing teams, enhancing delivery efficiency, and fostering a healthy, inclusive team culture. Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on technical leadership with strategic organizational mentorship.
Domain Expertise: Experience in Payments, Financial Services, or related transaction-heavy systems preferred. Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory standards within financial or commerce platforms.
Operational Agile Proficiency: Proficient in Agile methodologies, iterative delivery, and project management within complex product ecosystems. Skilled in crafting and implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and release automation frameworks.
