Senior Manager - Production

Job Title:

Senior Manager Production (Tyre Manufacturing)

Role & responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end production operations in tyre manufacturing.

Hands-on exposure across all major tyre manufacturing processes, including:

Mixing

Stock Preparation

Tyre Building

Curing

Finishing & Inspection

Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum utilization of manpower and machines.

Drive process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, safety norms, and statutory requirements.

Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams for smooth operations.

Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, Kaizen, 5S).

Lead, coach, and develop production teams and shift managers.

Analyze production KPIs and prepare MIS reports for management

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 18+ years of experience in tyre manufacturing industry.

Mandatory exposure to TBR (Truck & Bus Radial), PCR (Passenger Car Radial), and MCR (Motorcycle Radial) segments.

Strong technical understanding of radial tyre manufacturing processes.

Proven leadership experience managing large shop-floor teams.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
