Senior Manager Operations and SCM

As a Senior Manager Operations and SCM at a leading Oil and Gas MNC, your role will involve: - Leading operations for all PAN India plants as well as 3rd party plants. - Managing over 15+ subordinates across plants. - Managing the transport fleet of non-dedicated & other spot hired bulk tankers & Trucks for Bitumen, Modified Bitumen & Bitumen Emulsion transportation. - Ensuring safety in operations through a robust system of checks and balances, closure of audit observations, continual monitoring, and implementation. - Planning and managing the construction of new bitumen production plants. - Establishing and supervising plant production. - Bringing total know-how and best practices on production processes and HSEQ standards in liaison with the Bitumen Division (BTM). - Defining all production formulations. - Managing R&D on new product formulation, liaising with the BTM department for product development strategy and new technologies. - Managing own & 3rd party plants laboratories and the customer-oriented quality system. - Providing technical assistance to customers and marketing team. - Representing and lobbying on behalf of the company at technical meetings with associations, standardization groups, customers, road, and local authorities. - Formulating budgets, periodic review, tracking, monitoring of budget, and its implementation. - Ensuring basic information on HSEQ aspects concerning bituminous products including product safety and establishing HSEQ aspect within the customers. - Implementing the HSSEQ objectives set out for the department by achieving the KPIs, complying with the audit findings, and continually improving safety guideline assimilation. - Assessing skill gaps and imparting necessary training to close the gaps, with specific emphasis on safety. - Implementing robust technical support tools for monitoring transportation & logistics. - Completely managing Central Purchase of Procurement at the Head office. Requirements: - BE with 15+ years of experience. - Experience of managing the diverse aspects of production and quality control in the safest manner possible, preferably in Bitumen, Oil & Gas, and Paint/Chemicals industry. - Experience with hazardous substance SCM. - Ability to see the bigger picture and lead across the company. - Experience of not less than 10 years at progressively senior management levels.,
