Senior Manager / Manager Credit Rating with a Large Private Bank

Your responsibilities in this role will include: - Independently assigning ratings by conducting comprehensive analysis of companies" performance, credit proposals, financial statements, and projections to assess creditworthiness - Analyzing business models, identifying strengths, weaknesses, risks, understanding revenue models, and corporate structures - Handling rating assignments for entities of varying sizes and providing rationales for the assigned ratings - Assigning ratings according to the internal rating scale after thoroughly understanding the borrower, industry, and peer group analysis You will also be responsible for: - Surveillance of ratings in the assigned portfolio and reviewing ratings based on new developments in the company/industry - Monitoring ratings through various surveillance frameworks and ensuring all available information is considered - Conducting industry analysis by reading reports, attending webinars and seminars, and evaluating sector performance - Taking charge of one of the surveillance frameworks in the team and presenting outcomes and key rating actions to senior management - Monitoring portfolio performance for stress indicators, recommending rating actions, and highlighting key risk factors - Preparing newsletters on industry/portfolio for internal circulation and responding to audit observations - Undertaking any other assignments as needed by the organization while adhering to policies.,
